To find contacts in Gmail, login to your Gmail account, find the red arrow, and open Contacts in the drop-down menu. This process takes approximately two minutes.
- Sign in to your Gmail account
Open Gmail on your browser, type your username and password, and sign in. Check the top left corner of the page where Inbox, Starred, Sent Mail, Drafts and other options are located. The word “Gmail” appears just above the Compose button when you login in Standard View.
- Locate the red arrow
At the end of the word “Gmail” that is located right above the Compose button, there is a red button pointing downwards. Click the red button to access a drop-down menu that contains links for Gmail, Contacts and Tasks.
- Open Contacts on the drop-down menu
Click Contacts on the drop-down menu to access your Gmail contacts. Gmail classifies your contacts according to how frequently you communicate with them. If you are looking for a contact of a person you communicate with regularly, click the Most Contacted option. The Other Contacts option contains contacts of people you communicate with but not regularly. To add a new contact, click the New Contact button located above the My Contacts button.
