To view your contact list on Gmail, log into the standard version of Gmail, click the small down-facing arrow next to your mail, and select Contacts from the drop-down menu. The left side of the Contacts page contains different categories of contacts, such as Frequently Contacted, Contact Groups, All Contacts and Imported Contacts. The middle section of the page displays each contact under a specific category.
If you are viewing Gmail in basic HTML, go to the left side of the screen, and click the Contacts link under Compose Mail. On the new page, type a search term into the search box located next to All Contacts to find a specific contact, and then click Search Contacts. You can also log into your Gmail account in standard view, click the Google Applications option in the top-right corner of the Gmail page, click More on the Google Applications menu and then click the Contacts application.
Alternatively, click the gearwheel icon near the top-right corner of the Gmail page, click Settings, select Keyboard Shortcuts On, and then click Save Changes at the bottom of the page. Go back to Gmail, press and hold the G key on your keyboard, and then press the C key to view Gmail contacts.
