Computer browser settings are a set of parameters that allow users to control various aspects of Web browsers, such as Internet Explorer, including the Internet connection, pop-up blocking and add-on installation. Users can access these settings via the Control Panel in Windows or directly through the browser.
In Internet Explorer 8 and newer versions, the browser settings are arranged into several different categories, including General, Security, Privacy and Content. Users can modify the desired parameters by clicking on the corresponding tab and making the necessary changes within the Internet Options window. Browsers also provide an option to reset all settings to their default values in case they stop functioning properly.
