Some common Samsung monitor problems include a flickering screen and black spots on the screen when connected to a computer. Another common problem is the monitor failing to turn on or the computer being unable to detect the monitor.
These problems can sometimes be resolved by simple troubleshooting methods. First, reset the monitor by turning it off and unplugging the power cable from both the back of the monitor and from the wall. Disconnect any other connection cables from the monitor and wait for about half a minute. Reconnect the power and the cables and then check if the problem is resolved. If the problem is not resolved, check the monitor settings by pressing the source button that switches between input modes.
Alternatively, connect the monitor to another computer, as sometimes the problem can be the computers graphics card.
