The colors available for the iPod Touch fifth generation are red, yellow, pink, blue, silver and space gray, as of April 2015. Apple offers iPod Touch devices with a capacity of 16, 32 and 64 gigabytes, priced at $199, $249 and $299 respectively.
The latest generation of iPod touch features iOS 8, which is the largest iOS release as of yet according to Store.Apple.com. The mobile operating system allows users to add voice and video to their text messages, monitor their health, type more quickly using the predictive text capability and make video calls using FaceTime.
The device also boasts a very thin aluminum body, a 4-inch retina display and a 5-megapixel iSight camera equipped with advanced optics, a LED flash and a 1,080-pixels, High Definition video shooting capacity. It also has an iTunes Radio, which is a free streaming radio that allows users to discover music based on the songs they play or download. Some of the apps featured in the iPod Touch fifth generation include iMovie, Numbers, Keynote, Pages and GarageBand.
Every iPod touch order on the Apple website comes with an iPod touch loop, except for the 16-gigabyte model, which matches the device’s color and wraps around the user’s wrist. The package also includes a pair of Apple EarPods and a Lightning to USB cable.
