Chromecast is a device that is plugged into a modern television’s HDMI port and allows users to stream media and content from a computer or mobile device. Chromecast streams the media over an available Wi-Fi network to the TV screen.
This device is a thumb sized dongle that resembles a USB. Chromecast allows users to view movies and TV shows in resolutions up to 1080p. The device also allows users to listen to music and view web pages on the TV screen. A phone, tablet or laptop serve as the primary launching location for the streaming media and the applicable device acts as a remote that controls what is viewed on the TV screen.
