To check the status of a Kindle device ordered through Amazon, sign in to your Amazon account and click on Your Orders under the Your Account menu. To find the delivery status of a Kindle ordered through another store, such as Best Buy or Staples, contact the vendor's customer service department. Kindle e-books are delivered directly to your device when it is connected to the Internet. Amazon e-book purchases are listed in the Digital Orders section of the orders page.
The Amazon Your Orders page lists your most recent purchases first. Amazon displays the date the order was placed and the total price paid. Click on Order Details to see the method of payment, shipping and handling charges, sales tax, and a breakdown of the purchase price of your Kindle, along with any other items in your order. When your item is shipped, you can click on Track Package to receive the most recent location of your package from the carrier.
