Confirmation numbers are printed on the receipt, and confirmation emails are sent for both orders and pre-orders. The information necessary to check the order status begins with "ORDER #," "Order Number," or "Preorder Confirmation" and is entirely numeric. This information is always visible through the purchaser's Verizon Wireless account. To check an order number through this account, sign in through VerizonWireless.com, and click My Orders.

Some orders qualify for a rebate. To see if a rebate has been received or processed, click Go to Wireless Rebate Center on the Order Status page, and click Submit or Check Rebate. Trading in an old mobile device also qualifies you for a discount on your Verizon Wireless bill. Click Trade-in Status on the Order Status page, and then click Check Your Device Value. Supply the carrier, manufacturer and model number for the device to see the maximum rebate value offered for the older piece of equipment.
