To change AT&T billing preferences, navigate to Att.com, log in with your AT&T account, open the Payment tab in the Account Settings section, and select the desired payment option. When changing the billing preferences, it usually takes a full billing cycle before the changes come into effect.
After selecting the AT&T View-N-Pay option, AT&T still charges your checking account or credit card automatically until the following billing cycle, when you receive an email notification regarding manual payment. The same applies when switching from manual payment to the automatic payment system. To modify billing notification preferences, hover over the MyAT&T button in the main navigation bar, click on the Profile link, navigate to the Billing Notifications section, and edit the preferences.
