In order to change a signature in Outlook 2010, in a new email, click "Message" and then "Signatures" to open the editing window. The existing signature can be edited and placed in future emails. Always test the revised signature by opening a new email after saving to make sure that the new signature shows up properly.
Often, the information included in an email signature can change, making it necessary to change the signature.
Open a new email in Outlook 2010
From the main screen, click the "New E-mail" button to open a fresh email.
Click the "Message" tab
Clicking the message tab changes the ribbon, giving users new options.
Choose the signature that needs to be edited from the list in the upper left corner. Click the "Edit" button.
Make changes in the "Edit signature" box
Adjust the existing signature as needed. Press the "Enter" key on the keyboard to add line breaks.
Click the "Save" button
Save all the changes made to the signature to ensure that they display properly in a new email.
Exit the editing screen and test the new signature
Click "OK" to exit the editing window and then close the window. Open a new email to test the revised signature.
