  1. Sign into your account

    Go to the Yahoo home page, and click on the gear symbol in the upper right hand corner of the page. In the drop-down menu that appears, click on Account Info. The sign-in page will appear; enter your current ID and password.

  2. Click on Change Your Password

    On the personal account page, click Change Your Password. It is located towards the bottom of the page on the left-hand side.

  3. Change password

    Enter a new password in the box that appears. The new password must be between eight and 32 characters, and contain at least one capital letter and a number. Try not to use any portion of your name, or a password that you have previously used. Enter the new password again to confirm the change, and press Continue.
