To change the email address on file with your Verizon Wireless account, log into your account and edit the primary email address within the Account Settings tab. This process may also include clicking on a link within a verification email. Alternately, contact Verizon support via email or phone to request the change.
The majority of Verizon Wireless account changes take place from within the My Account page, which you access by signing in with your User ID or mobile number and your account password. In most cases, you create this account during the initial registration process for coverage, though it is possible to register an account at any time with a valid service contract. Once you log into your account, locate the Account Settings tab and navigate to the page for managing your contact information. Enter the new email address in the available space and click Save to update the information.
If you are unable to log into your account, the service provides User ID and password recovery tools to retrieving lost information. If you no longer have access to the current email on file, and you need to verify the address before accessing the account, contact a Verizon support agent to update your email address. The agent may ask for your Verizon Wireless account number and phone number in order to verify your identity and process the change.
