To create a system repair disc, click the Start button, and then click Control Panel. Navigate to System and Maintenance, and click Backup and Restore. Click Create a System Repair Disc on the left, and complete the disc creation wizard. Windows may ask for administrative privileges.
With either a Windows Vista installation disc or a system repair disc inside the drive, restart the computer. The system boots the recovery interface. If not, change your BIOS settings to boot the disc before booting the hard drive.Learn more about Software
