Most colleges that use MyAccess to allow students access to their electronic records include access to student health insurance as part of the package. Colleges using MyAccess include Georgetown University and the University of California, San Francisco.
Using MyAccess, students at Georgetown University are able to waive or accept the offer of student health insurance. If insurance is not waived, students are typically charged for student health insurance in the fall. UCSF students can also use MyAccess to waive their student health insurance. To do so, they also need their student ID number, insurance company contact information, health insurance member and group number, and their health insurance summary of benefits.
