MSN email can be checked by going to the Windows Live Hotmail website. Once at the site, the user will need to type in their email address and password, click on the "Sign In" button and then click on Inbox to view their MSN email messages.
To write and send a new message to a friend, family member, colleague or organization, first sign in to the email account. Then click the "New" button at the top of the page. Next, look for the "To" line and type in the email address of the person that will be receiving the email. Alternatively, the person can select someone from their contact list to put in the "To" line as well. Then in the "Subject" line, type in a brief note that describes what the message is about. An example would be "New Year's Eve Dinner Plans" or "Thinking About You." Finally, type the message and click the "Send" button.
MSN email also offers a free Junk Email Reporting program that helps to provide reports on junk email issues that MSN users experience. Any email that is marked as "junk" or "phishing" will be returned. This program is both useful for individual MSN email users and corporate email users who are sending lots of mail to customers. The corporate email users will be able to determine whether their mail is being viewed as spam or whether it is being sent directly to the customer.
