The textPlus app is not directly available for PC's as of 2015, however, the program can be accessed through a PC or Mac computer using an emulator app such as Bluestacks. Android emulators allow users to access mobile applications on regular PCs. Download the Bluestacks app from an app store or other online link, and then install the textPlus app once Bluestacks is set up on the computer.
With Bluestacks installed and open, select the Search option, and input "textPlus" in the field. Select the version of textPlus to use, and follow the prompts to install the app. To use textPlus once installed, open the program through Bluestacks. All features of the mobile version of textPlus are available through the Bluestacks download.
With the textPlus program, you can make calls and send text messages for free or very cheap via an online platform. With the app installed, select from Inbox, Calls, Messages or Contacts. The program works much like a smartphone and offers the same options for calling and texting but on a different platform. To make a call, select the telephone icon at the top-right of the page. For a text, click the message icon at the top-left of the page (labeled "text+").
