The first step in replacing your plasma screen is purchasing a replacement screen compatible with your TV. Upon receiving the replacement, remove the plastic support structures attached to it and the protective peel-away sheet covering the screen.
Disconnect the plasma TV from the power source, and lay it on a flat, horizontal surface with the screen facing downwards. With the aid of a screwdriver, remove the screws holding the back cover in place. If the TV has a VGA connector, remove the two screw posts on the sides of the connector. If there is a nut on the coaxial cable, remove it. If the back cover is difficult to pull out after removing the screws, forcefully pull the cover from the frame holding it.
Remove the metal plate supporting the mounting stand. Dismantle the main circuit board and the power board from the original TV panel. Attach these parts to the replacement screen. Take note of how the TV's components are connected. Next, disconnect any hardware and wiring between the bezel and the chassis.
Carefully lift the old screen off the bezel. Fit the replacement screen into the bezel, and put back the components you removed. Close the cover, and plug the TV back into the power source.
