Click on View and check Show Hidden Files and Folders. Next, open iPod_Controls from the iPod folder, and select Music. Copy all of the folders from this location, and drag them into the destination folder on the hard drive. After the copying process is complete, select all of the folders, choose Properties, and uncheck Hidden. This process strips the song files of their titles and descriptions, but re-importing all of the files into iTunes from the hard drive re-assigns this information.
