To log in to Optimum through My Account, go to the Optimum home page and enter your Optimum ID and password. If you do not have an Optimum ID, you can create one by selecting the Create an Optimum ID link from your home computer. The link takes you to a page where you set up your ID by entering basic information and verifying account details.
When creating your Optimum ID, you must enter your account number and phone number for verification. Additionally, you cannot set up your ID from any computer not connected to your Optimum home network.
If you already have an Optimum ID but have forgotten it, or have forgotten your password, you may access the password reset option from the home screen by selecting Forgot Password in the login section.
The Optimum ID allows you to pay your bill, read email and listen to voicemail online, and download Optimum's Internet protection services. You can also schedule DVR recordings.
If you have difficulty creating your ID or accessing your account, the Optimum site provides a Live Chat option for you to speak with someone immediately online. The site also provides a toll-free number and an email contact for additional assistance.
If you do not yet have an Optimum account, you can open an account by clicking on the Not an Optimum Customer link on the homepage to the right of the login area.
