Hidden File Tool offers detailed search options in a plain interface. The tool provides various filters, such as whether or not a file is read-only, to provide more specific search results. Once you've set the filters, click Search to look for hidden files.
Alternatively, make Windows show hidden files, and use the built-in search option. Click the Start button, and open the Control Panel. Click Appearance and Personalization, and the choose Folder Options. Navigate to the View tab, and check the box next to Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives.
