To reinstall Fitbit Connect on a PC, first uninstall it by opening Control Panel before navigating to Programs and Features and selecting Fitbit Connect. Then, click on Uninstall. While using a Mac, search for and open the Fitbit Connect file, and click on the Uninstall option. Next, restart your computer before going to the Fitbit website and downloading the Fitbit Connect setup file.
Once the download is complete, temporarily disable any antivirus software on your computer, and run the setup file to reinstall Fitbit connect. If you had previously paired the tracker with your account, you don't need to run the setup process.
After the program finishes reinstalling, turn on your tracker by pressing its power button or tapping its display, and bring it close to the dongle that is plugged into your computer. Launch the Fitbit Connect software, and select Open Main Menu. Next, click Sync Now. After signing in to your Fitbit account, your tracker should sync with your account.
If you encounter a problem syncing your tracker with your account, try waking your tracker by pressing or tapping its button. If the tracker doesn't sync, restart it. Then, try syncing it again from the Fitbit program. If the tracker still doesn't sync, contact customer support for further assistance.
