To customize the MSN home page, sign into the MSN website using a Microsoft account, click on your account name in the top right corner of the page, and select Customize This Page. Customizing your MSN home page will result in the syncing of all MSN websites and the MSN apps where you are signed in.
After you click Customize This Page, an option is presented for you to add or remove content sections from the home page. Personalize each page by selecting an activity from the top right corner of the page. Pages that allow for personalization are News, Sports and Money, Health & Fitness, and Food & Drink.
To change the column layout, select the tab that you wish to change, and select the Customize link. Click on the Layouts tab, and after choosing a column layout, save your settings.
Add service stripes to the home page by hovering over any service on the top of the page to access the sign-in option. Sign in to your Facebook or Twitter by hovering over either service and clicking the Sign in link. Signing in through Facebook allows you to leave comments on articles, and friends are also able to view your comments on the article.
