Live TV streams from the Internet can be broadcast on a television set. Television sets that are Internet-ready allow streaming directly from the TV, without the need for added utilities. Devices such as Google's Chromecast, Apple TV and Roku allow live streaming to TVs with an HDMI port.
An HDMI cable can also be used to connect a computer to a TV as long as both devices are equipped with an HDMI port. This allows all content on the computer, including live streams, to be displayed on the TV.
Video game consoles, such as the Xbox One, can also be used to watch live streams on a television.
