The official Uconnect website recommends that Chrysler owners needing to get their Chryster Uconnect systems fixed start by calling the Uconnect system support telephone number, which makes operators available 24 hours a day. In order to receive service, you must have your security PIN. It is also possible to book an appointment with a FCA US dealer to update Uconnect software or get repairs and other services.
To troubleshoot a faulty Uconnect system, the first step is to update the software through the Uconnect System. Visit the Get Started section of the official Uconnect website, and enter the 17 digits of your Vehicle Identification Number. Download the software update onto a USB drive, and then transfer the update to your Chrysler vehicle. This update takes between 30 and 45 minutes, and the vehicle must be in park throughout the duration of the process. Chrysler owners with compatible vehicles may also follow this same process to install Uconnect for the first time.
For further information about fixing Chrysler Uconnect, visit the Owners section of the official Chrysler website. Select your vehicle by the year and model. A list of free, downloadable owner’s manuals appears. Click on the Download link for the manual of choice, which can be the Uconnect 3.0 manual, the Uconnect 5.0 manual or the manual for Uconnect 8.4 and 8.4 NAV, as of 2016.
