After the discontinuation of the product, Microsoft encouraged users to use Bing maps on their PC or download Bing maps app for Windows phone. The original owner of Microsoft Streets and Trips 2013 was a UK based company called NextBase Ltd, which sold it to Microsoft in 1994.
