Get a free Blackberry phone by subscribing to data plans by Verizon or AT&T. As of 2015, both companies offer various Blackberry phones for free if the customer promises to subscribe to his data plan for at least 24 months. While AT&T only offers the BlackBerry Priv for free, Verizon presents three choices: Classic, Classic Non camera and Z30.
The Priv is the first BlackBerry smartphone to run on Android. Powered by a 1.8 gigahertz Cortex-A57 CPU, the Priv features a 5.4-inch screen that has a resolution of 1,440 by 2,560 pixels. The Gorilla Glass 4 by Corning protects the screen against impact and scratches. The phone has 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal storage, and supports microSD cards up to 200 gigabytes.
The two variations of BlackBerry Classic run on BlackBerry OS. The phones feature a dual-core 1.5 gigahertz Krait CPU that is aided by an Adreno 225 GPU in 3-D applications. The phones offer 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes of internal storage and up to 128 gigabytes of microSD support.
Also running on BlackBerry OS, the Z30 offers 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes of internal storage space and microSD support up to 64 gigabytes. A dual core 1.7 gigahertz Krait CPU powers the phone. The 5-inch screen of the Z30 has a resolution of 720 by 1,280 pixels, putting the pixel density at 294 pixels per inch.
