Blackberry phones may be connected to a laptop. Many late-model Blackberries are able to connect to a laptop in order to transfer data and photographs from one device to the other. To begin, identify the Blackberry model to be connected to a laptop. Having done that, select the proper USB charger/connector specific to the Blackberry, bearing in mind that some models of Blackberry phones use a different plug-in than the charger port.
Once the proper connection is in hand, connecting is a matter of plugging the device into the laptop. Some Blackberries require special software, which comes with the device when purchased or may be downloaded online. If problems persist, contact Blackberry technical support or the cell phone service provider for assistance with transferring data to the laptop.
