If a customer can't remember her Apple ID, or is not sure if she has one, she can try to recover her Apple ID through the Apple.com website. A customer's Apple ID is the primary email address used for a Apple ID account.
To recover a lost Apple ID, customers can go to the "My Apple ID" page of the Apple.com website, then click "Find your Apple ID" and enter their first and last names, along with any email addresses that may have been used with the Apple ID account. If the Apple ID can't be located, a new one is created. If the Apple ID is located, the customer is asked to reset her password.
