In order to burn CDs off the Internet for free, you need a disc image and a free CD burning software. CD Burner XP is a free application that can burn disc images to CDs. If the content consists of .mp3 files, you can use Windows Media Player to burn the files.
To burn a CD using Windows Media Player, click the Switch to Library button in the upper right. Then click the Burn tab. Make a list of what you want to burn to the CD by dragging the items into the list on the right. Windows Media Player remembers the lists you've made but haven't burned to a disc. Make sure that the list is empty before you burn the disc.Click Start burn to initiate the process.
If you are using Windows 7 or a newer version of Windows, you can burn CDs without using third-party software. After inserting a recordable disc into your device, double-click on your disc image file. If you are burning sensitive data, make sure you check the Verify disc after burning check box.
Similarly, Apple's Mac OS also offers a disc burning tool. After inserting a blank disc, run Disk Utility and select the disc image in the sidebar. Then click Burn in the toolbar to burn the image.
