Full Answer

Boost Mobile offers Shrinkage customers unlimited voice, messaging and data, which throttles to 128 kilobytes per second or less for data usage above 2.5 gigabytes per month. The price point for the Shrinkage plan increases by $5 from the base, feature-phone level for Android users and again for Blackberry users. Boost Mobile allowed existing Shrinkage customers to maintain their plans provided their accounts remain active and they do not switch to another service plan, but the company reserved the right to discontinue the plans at a later date.

Boost Mobile replaced the Shrinkage plans with its Select plans, which also offer unlimited voice, messaging and data but differentiates the three plan tiers based on the monthly allotment of data available to the user for high-speed access rather than the type of device used by the customer. The Select plan price point increases by $10 per month for 2.5 gigabytes rather than 500 megabytes and again for 5 gigabytes per month rather than 2.5 gigabytes.
