As of 2015, T-Mobile no longer has a corporate discount for companies that have service with them. However, qualified customers of participating employers may receive benefits such as receiving a discount towards a new line of service or gift cards from the T-Mobile Advantage Program.
Subscribers working for a participating employer may qualify for this new discount program, as of 2015. The new discount program allows customers that signed up on or before March 31, 2014, the benefit of a monthly discount off of their phone bill. Consumers also receive the benefit of a discount even with a new line of service on the account. T-Mobile requires customers to verify employment periodically to maintain eligibility of the discount and to receive the discount.
Customers that signed up on or after April 1, 2014, receive the benefit of a $25 reward card with each new purchase of a phone or tablet. The gift card works at any T-Mobile branch. Consumers may also use the gift card to pay their T-Mobile bill or use it as a credit towards the purchase of a new device. The cell carrier has a verification site that enables subscribers to determine eligibility for the new program. Consumers can complete the process to get the discount fully online after submitting the proper information for review.
