BDE Administrator is part of the Borland Database Engine. It allows users to configure and add alias definitions for various databases.
The BDE Administrator works with systems that use the Borland Database Engine, such as C++, Paradox and ASCII. Where and how to access the BDE Administrator depends on which version of Windows is on the computer and the desired format of the program on the screen. The easiest way to access it is to find it through the computer's control panel. Double-clicking on the BDE Administrator icon will open it and allow the user to select which database to change.
