“Back to My Mac” is an iCloud solution that allows a user to access a Mac’s hard drive from any Internet-connected Mac running OS X Lion v10.7.5 and later. It gives users access to files, folders and screen of the remote Mac.
“Back to My Mac” requires that both the local and remote Mac computers are connected with a single iCloud account. Users are then able to find and manipulate files and folders in the remote Mac, and they can even drag them to the local Mac. Screen sharing allows users to view a remote Mac machine as if they are sitting in front of it.
