Telus Mobility's 4G wireless network accommodates 99% of Canadians. This includes metropolitan areas such as Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton. The network covers other major cities including Ottawa, Québec City, Halifax and Waterloo.
Telus provides an interactive coverage map on its website, which allows users to select between the company's 4G, 3G and MIKE networks and view coverage at a nationwide level and by region. Individuals can also use the map to view different types of 4G coverage, including HSPA+, DC-HSPA+ and LTE. This allows users to determine maximum and average expected download speeds in each area. As of July 2015, these speeds range between 4 and 110 Mbps. The map also indicates future network expansions for 4G services, and allows users to search for specific addresses, cities and postal codes.
