AppleWorks 6 is a program designed by Apple to make working easier, as it is designed to work and think just as a person would. It combines the processing abilities of word processing, page layout, painting, spreadsheet, database and presentations into one easy-to-use application.
AppleWorks is compact in design and works a large array of capabilities with a surprisingly small amount of room taken up on drives. The memory use is small, and the applications are all in one place. The AppleWorks system is an office suit product that functions as an integrated software product for Apple II. The most current version is AppleWorks 6.2.9, which was released in January, 2004. The program was discontinued in August, 2007, and was replaced with the iWork suite.
