Some free Android apps include Pandora, Netflix, Messenger and Candy Crush Soda Saga. These are some of the most popular free Android apps, according to the Google Play store, as of March 2015.
Pandora is a free music app that lets users create stations centered around a song or artist to hear similar music. The free account is supported by ads, but there is a paid premium account that removes ads and offers other perks.
Netflix requires a paid subscription, though the actual app is free to download. Users can view movies, television shows and documentaries on Android devices through this app, as well as access saved titles and favorites.
Messenger accesses Facebook contacts for text chatting, and also has group chat and allows for free calling through the use of Wi-Fi. Users can send files, such as videos and pictures, with an integrated feature that gives the messenger access to the phone's camera for quick shots.
Candy Crush Soda Saga is a game in which players have to match images on the play screen. There are paid aspects of the game that give players easier access to higher levels or help them get past complicated portions of the game. However, these paid aspects are not required.
