Amazon.com Inc. doesn't accept PayPal as a payment option. It accepts most credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover Network and American Express; various prepaid cards, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express; Amazon gift cards; the Amazon.com Store Card; and payments from checking accounts, among other options.
The reason Amazon doesn't accept PayPal is because PayPal is owned by eBay Inc., one of Amazon’s competitors. A possible workaround is to link the PayPal and Amazon accounts to one bank account, transfer funds from PayPal to the account and then use the same account to pay for goods on Amazon. Another way is to purchase an Amazon gift card from a retail store that accepts PayPal as a payment option using the PayPal mobile application.
