To activate a TracFone, navigate to the TracFone website, hover over the Activate/Reactivate link, and click Phone in the drop-down menu. Follow the prompts on each new page to finish activation.
The first question gives you the option to activate a new phone number or reactivate TracFone service. You may transfer a current TracFone number or port a number from another company. You may go ahead and activate with a previously ported number. After making a choice, click submit to continue.
Current online customers may sign in, while new online customers need to create new accounts. To register for a new account, enter your personal information. Enter the serial number from the red card that came with the phone, or click the help link to read instructions for locating the serial number on the phone. Click the Register button to complete the activation.
