For devices that already come with the Netflix application or program pre-installed, such as Roku, locate the button on the remote or the app on the device and click it, following up with logging in with the email and password associated with your Netflix account.
The setup for Netflix is different for each type of Netflix-ready device. For any device you wish to use with Netflix, you must have an Internet connection, either hardwired or Wi-Fi. For nonlaptop and computer devices, make sure your Wi-Fi connection and password are programmed into the device so that Netflix can stream its content through the Wi-Fi signal. The same process works for streaming media players such as Apple TV, Roku, Nexus Player, ChromeCast or Amazon Fire.
For devices such as tablets and phones, if the Netflix application is not already installed on the device, you can download it for free through the appropriate app store located on your phone or tablet device, such as Apple Store for iPhone, iPad, and iTouch, or Google Play for Android phones and tablets. You cannot access Netflix without a stable Internet connection, and in some circumstances, the Internet bars must be at least two to maintain a strong enough connection to stream content to a Netflix-enabled device.
