To access your online AT&T account, go to att.com, and click on myAT&T near the top of the page, as of 2015. Select the account type; examples include wireless and home phone with Internet. Type your user ID and password, and click Log In.
Customers with wireless accounts may need to log in with their 10-digit wireless numbers and four-digit passwords instead of typical user IDs and passwords. If you use a public computer, uncheck the option to save your user ID, for security purposes. A customer who oversees multiple accounts uses her AT&T Access ID to access the accounts all at once, otherwise she must log into each account individually.
Online accounts enable AT&T customers to view their bills, assess payment options, make payments, and check on previous transactions. Automatic pay allows AT&T to deduct monthly payments from a customer's bank account, while customers can make one-time payments with their checking accounts or a card through the website.
To register for a user ID, a customer selects the account type, and enters information that varies depending on the account type. For a wireless account, for example, he supplies the account number and billing ZIP code. Next, he picks a user ID and password and confirms the online account.
