The top five cell phones, in reverse order and as of April 2015, are the LG G3, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the HTC One M9, the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6, according to TechRadar. TechRadar rates the Nexus 6, Sony Xperia Z3, iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and Sony Experia Z3 Compact as the next best five phones, in reverse order, to complete the top 10.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 takes the top spot because of its high quality camera and excellent audio and video quality. It also boasts a large storage capacity of up to 128 GB and a 5.1-inch display. Some downsides, however, are the cost and rather short battery life.
The iPhone 6 takes a close second, and has just as much potential storage space as the Galaxy S6 (also a maximum of 128 GB), but it does not have such a high quality camera. Its screen size is also smaller at 4.7 inches, but the device is a lot easier to handle as a result.
The HTC One M9 ranks highly as a result of the excellent durability and quality of construction. While the device has slightly less maximum storage than the other top ranking phones (a maximum of 32 GB), it does have a larger screen than the iPhone 6. The audio and visual quality is also very high.
