The WWE Performance Center is the official wrestling training school for the company. While WWE previously worked with other training schools and spread its own clinics across multiple locations, the organization opened the Performance Center in 2013 to serve as its lone training facility.
Located in Orlando, Florida, the WWE Performance Center contains multiple rings, gym facilities and a staff comprised of former WWE wrestlers and other specialists. When the WWE signs wrestlers to developmental contracts, it sends them to the Performance Center and can move them up or down the organizational ladder from that point. Successful wrestlers can advance to televised events on the WWE's NXT platform and even be added to the main roster.
