Manitoba, Canada won the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts by defeating Alberta’s Val Sweeting six to five in the gold medal final. The tournament was held from February 14 to 22 at the Mosaic Place Arena in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
The Scotties Tournament of Hearts, formerly the Canadian Women's Curling Championship, is a women's curling tournament held annually in Canada. Tournament winners subsequently represent Canada at the women’s World Curling Championships.
The tournament began in 1982 when former Scott Paper employee and 1979 World Curling Championship team member, Robin Wilson, successfully secured Scott Paper as the sponsor of the championships. It has been held in a number of cities across Canada since its inception, including Prince George, British Columbia, Ottawa, Ontario, Calgary, Alberta and Brandon, Manitoba.
