Some of the top wrestlers in the NCAA during the 2014 season were David Taylor of Penn State, Taylor Walsh of Indiana, and Logan Stieber of Ohio State. Taylor won the 165-pound national championship, Walsh had the most pins, and Stieber won his third consecutive national championship.
Taylor finished the season with 34 wins and zero losses and was named the Most Dominant Wrestler by the NCAA. He was also named the Big Ten Male Athlete of the Year and led the nation with an average of 5.0909 points per match. Walsh finished the season with 34 wins including 22 pins. Stieber won the 141-pound national championship.
