In the other semi-final, the Badgers were aided by 20 points and 11 rebounds from All-American center Frank Kaminsky in knocking off the previously undefeated Wildcats.
The championship game featured a 31-31 halftime tie and 13 lead changes, with Duke holding the Badgers to four points over an eight-minute second half stretch to eek out the win.
