The aquatic sports played at the 2015 Pan American Games were diving, swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo. The gymnastic events were artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline. The equestrian events were dressage, eventing and jumping.
The Pan American Games also had branches of cycling, canoeing, roller sports, volleyball and wrestling. The cycling events were BMX, mountain biking, road and track. Canoeing activities at the Pan American Games were separated between sprint and slalom. Roller sports at the Pan American Games were separated between figure skating and speed skating. Both indoor and beach volleyball were played at the Games. Wrestling was practiced at the Pan American Games in freestyle and Greco-Roman style.
Other major sports played at the 2015 Pan American Games included soccer, golf, softball and tennis. Individual athletic activities, such as archery, bowling and shooting, were also played at the Games. Team athletic activities such as rowing and sailing were played at the Games as well. Martial arts such as judo, karate and taekwondo were also sports at the 2015 Pan American Games.
