Top-rated summer camps geared towards swimming include Fluid Mechanics Swim Camp and Camp Menlo. These camps feature award-winning swimming programs.
The Fluid Mechanics Swim Camp is run by swimming consultants Fluid Mechanics. The camp for 2015 took place at East Stroudsburg University and was open to competitive swimmers aged nine to 17. Swimmers receive instruction from consultants. There are also sessions on technique, strength training, racing strategies, psychology, goal setting and nutrition. Students have the opportunity to use video analysis of their performance.
Camp Menlo is a day camp based out of Burgess Park Pools. It includes aquatics instruction, water sports and dry land activities. The programs on offer include an award-winning pre-K aquatic camp with crafts, team games and a daily swim session. Another program is a Junior Lifeguard Challenge for 10 to 14 year olds. Participants learn survival skills, communication skills, strength training and fitness.

The camps are designed by 1992 Olympic Coach Nick Baker for aspiring, competitive swimmers. There are 12 locations coast-to-coast, as well as international camps in countries including Brazil, Hong Kong and Jamaica. Camps also operate in the spring, fall and winter. The camps feature high-quality accommodation, healthy eating and recreational activities.
