Born Antonio Ramiro Romo on April 21, 1980, Tony is an American football quarterback playing for the Dallas Cowboys. As of January 2015, he has achieved a passer rating of 113.2, but before reaching success, he first spent two and a half years as the Cowboys' backup quarterback.
Romo has Mexican American grandparents and is a native of Wisconsin. His first sport was soccer, but after his high school freshman year, he switched to football.
