These websites provide extensive information and coverage of the IIHF World Junior Hockey tournament. Scores are viewed by using either a tab on the main menu or o a drop-down menu under the category of hockey. After accessing the World Junior Hockey page, a tab on the menu directs users to the scores or results page. These sites have each game for the tournament listed by date, followed by the resulting score. For example, if the tournament begins on December 26th, and ends January 5th, the games are listed in descending order.
Once the games are played, the resulting scores are posted, along with a recap of the game and statistical information. Teams from around the world play to qualify for the tournament. The top ten teams are split between two divisions of five teams. Each team then plays four games in the first round, and then the team in last place in each division is eliminated. The rest of the teams play single elimination games in which the two remaining teams play for the gold medal.
