North American Table Tennis states that the playing surface of a regulation table should be 2.74 meters long and 1.525 meters wide, as of 2015. It should also stand horizontally, 76 centimeters above the floor.
The NATT says that there are no regulations for what material the playing surface on a regulation table should be made of, but when a regulation ball is dropped from 30 centimeters, it should bounce 23 centimeters. A regulation ball must be spherical, with a 40-millimeter diameter, and it should weigh 2.7 grams. It also must be made of celluloid or a similar plastic and be white or orange. The top of the net on a regulation table tennis table should be 15.25 centimeters above the surface of the table.
